Nurturing creativity and wellbeing through craft activities and art projects in the classroom

The focus of this 3-workshop series is on craft activities and art projects that nurture creativity and wellbeing in the classroom. The workshops will explore materials and craft processes that foster sustainability by using natural materials and techniques, found, re-cycled and repurposed objects.
The projects will be also linked to other subject areas.
Activities can be used as a stand-alone classes or building a more complex project from the techniques explored on the sessions.
This is a practical hands-on course.
This format allows participants to test ideas first hand and share experiences with each other.The handmade craft projects selected for these workshops can be also ideal activities in this pre-Christmas preparation period in the classroom.
