This course takes place over four weeks, with each webinar lasting one hour 15 minutes. Course content includes:
Session 1: The first session focuses on the practice of mindfulness and includes the following elements:

· What are the benefits and how can mindfulness help at a time like this?
· Some neuroscience and scientific evidence of its benefits
· Outline of the different types of practices
· Explanation of the process of meditation practice
· A guided practice
· Resources for further practice

Session 2: self-awareness and emotional intelligence including the following:
· What is self awareness
· What is emotional intelligence
· Some neuroscience and scientific evidence
· Guided body scan practice
· Applications in everyday life
· Journalling practice and benefits
· Resources for further practice
· Comments and questions
Session 3: emotional regulation and self management including:
· The stress response
· How to respond to triggers
· What happens in the brain when we are triggered
· Self-regulation
· Guided practice
· Comments and questions
Session 4: resilience and self-compassion
· What is resilience
· Emotional resilience and cognitive resilience
· What is self-compassion
· Evidence of its benefits
· How to practice and a guided practice
· Resources and further practice
· Comments and questions
