This course is based on the six principles of nurture and Nurture Group interventions for the social and emotional wellbeing of children in schools.
This course, open to teachers, SNAs and school leaders, will provide the information, case studies, skills and strategies needed to create a nurturing ethos among the busy school community.
Grounded in attachment theory and neuroscience, participants will be trained in using Boxall Profile Assessments, guided through a typical day in a Nurture Group, given strategies of how to spot a child in need of nurture and create strategies to implement positive change in their school communities.
Participants on this course will be invited to submit an optional assignment for certification.
