Weaving Well-Being: Using Positive Psychology in Schools 19AUT31

This six-hour course, offered over three evenings, provides an understanding of the science of positive psychology with practical and evidence-based strategies to support well-being. It provides an overview of the Weaving Well-Being programme, which is underpinned by positive psychology, and explores how elements of the programme can be implemented in the classroom setting. Teachers will also get the opportunity to experience positive psychology strategies on a personal level. Grounded in the SPHE curriculum, it shows how a whole-school approach can be supported by the SSE process, with particular reference to department guidelines in the area.
